Propoganda dictates that childbirth should be painful and so from the moment a woman decided to have a baby she starts thinking about the birth and all sorts of worries and anxieties appear. Yet if you look at poorer countries where women just have to get on with it and have no such thing as televisions, they have pain free comfortable natural births every day.

It has been proven that hypnotherapy can help you to birth your child naturally, easily and pain-free. The female body is designed to give birth and can do so almost effortlessly. Hypnotherapy can help you birth your child by:

I designed this course for expectant parents based on my knowledge of hypnotherapy and my experiences when having my son. Childbirth is unpredictable and so this course is designed with that in mind - this course is different from other birthing courses because it not only looks at helping you to achieve deep levels of relaxation but it also arms you with a range of tools that you can use no matter what. You will be left with the ability to have a positive birthing experience.

Whether you are a first time mum or you’ve done it before, this course is designed to provide you with a tool set to help ensure you have an enjoyable birthing experience.

The mind body connection, dealing with fear & the importance of language
Breathing techniques
Affirmations & the importance of language
Relaxation techniques
Deepening your relaxation
Visualisations that empower you
How to use hypnotherapy techniques during childbirth scenarios
A hypnosis session for a positive birth experience

The course will include lots of opportunity to practice the techniques taught. The purpose is to give you a toolkit whereby you can choose those techniques that work best for you.

Included in the price are three hypnotherapy CDs aimed at relaxaing you, preparing you for birth and having an enjoyable pregnancy. Plus another CD full of your personal affirmations created in session.

I limit all classes to either one or two couples so you get the full attention you need and deserve and all at a very affordable price of £300. The classes are broken up into either two or three sessions dependant on your availability.

Just a quick email to let you know that Isla was born at 11.38pm on 31/05/12 weighing 7lb 7.5oz.

The birth was just as I wanted I used the pool and just the breathing techniques you taught us. I managed until my contractions were 2 mins apart at home then went in and Isla was born an hour and a half later.

I do think that the visualisations worked as it was everything I pictured, a lovely calm, dimmed light pool room with my husband and myself just breathing through each contraction. He was a pillar of support and and supported my breathing brilliantly. I didnt quite manage the silent seemingly pain free ending that you showed in the videos but I feel I coped a lot better than last time. We didn't use the hypnotherapy readings as we didn't really get time, all in all from waters breaking to Isla's birth was 5 hours and nothing happened for an hour after my waters broke as I was putting J to bed.

I just want to say thank you for your support and guidance in making Isla's labour and birth a very different experience to my first child.

She is a greedy little guzzler and isn't giving us much sleep but she is gorgeous.
